WFA Wilderness First Aid
2 Days / 16 hrs
A professional course, the best and most comprehensive course of its kind to offer relevant and realistic first-aid training for seasonal outdoor activities or short term wilderness endeavors and pursuits.
Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures.
Course Duration: 2 Days / 16 hrs
Course Fee: ¥65,000

Pre-Requisites: Over 15yrs, no other requirements
Progression: WAFA 40 hr certified training
WAFA Hybrid Wilderness Advanced First Aid
Hybrid: 3 days in person + 20+ hours online study (theory & exam)
An advanced course designed for professionals working in significantly remote settings for days or weeks.
Wilderness Advanced First Aid is comprehensive medical training designed for remote professionals or wilderness leaders who venture into remote and challenging environments. Wilderness Medicine differs significantly from standard first aid courses and other training that are oriented toward urban environments.
Through a combination of 20+ hours of online study (theory and exam) and 3 days of in-person training, students learn slowly over time, consolidate their knowledge, and then put their knowledge into practice.

WFR Hybrid Wilderness First Responder
Hybrid: 5 days in person + 30+ hours online study (theory & exam)
An entry level course, the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course is the ideal medical training for outdoor educators, wilderness guides, members of the military, professional search and rescue teams, wildland firefighters, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief.
The course provides essential training in wilderness medicine, leadership, and critical thinking for professionals and leaders working and traveling in outdoor, low-resource, and remote environments.
The WFR Hybrid course combines 5 days of in-person training with 30+ hours of online study (theory and exam). During the course, students learn the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments for days and weeks if necessary.

Course Fee: ¥110,000

Pre-Requisites: Over 15yrs, no other requirements
Progression: EMT professional level 1
CPR & AED Basic First Aid Workshop
1 day / 8 hrs
This training focuses on all basic life support assessment with treatment including CPR, trauma stabilisation and use of AED device.
Upon booking your private training the workshop is available for modular adjustment with specific focus area to be trained.
The course is also suitable as a basic 'refresher' for re-training teams in first aid.

HOSTING TRAINING
Host a wilderness first aid training and benefit
JOI offers the ability for your group, school or organisation to host a private or public Wilderness First Aid Training as listed above. The host is then responsible for arranging and filling the selected course.
The per participant fee is then charged at a 20% host saving discount rate*
The requirements are to provide suitable :
1. Classroom learning environment with project or screen and whiteboard
2. Indoor space that should allow to perform demonstrations and practise drills
3. A controlled, safe outdoor area for scenario activities, nearby the facility
